About Jeremy
I’m Jeremy, a Computer Science student at Sunway University and a Jeffrey Cheah Scholar, with a current CGPA of 4.0 and 4 consecutive Dean’s List semesters.
I’m also a Programming Educator, currently teaching students aged 9–12 through 1-on-1 and small-group coding lessons in Python. For Python, I focus on helping beginners understand programming concepts clearly. I use step-by-step explanations, guided coding, and hands-on exercises so students can gradually become more confident solving problems independently.
I can teach in English or Mandarin, depending on the student’s preference.

My lessons are structured but adapted to the student’s pace.
1. Concept explanation
Clear explanations of programming concepts using beginner-friendly examples.
2. Guided coding
We work through examples together so the student understands how and why the code works.
3. Hands-on practice
Students write their own code through exercises and small projects, with guidance when they get stuck.
4. Project-based learning
As students progress, we work toward a complete project that brings multiple concepts together.
For a beginner Python pathway, we will cover:
* Setting up Python and the development environment
* Variables and data types
* Conditions: if / elif / else
* Loops
* Functions
* Lists, tuples and dictionaries
* Strings and basic file handling
* Problem-solving and programming logic
* A final capstone project
