About George
I have a BM from Peabody Conservatory and a Master's from the Aaron Copland School of Music (Queens College) and I am a full professor at Portland State University. I teach all ages and levels. I have been a professional musician since 1988. I taught at Juilliard for 2 years and University of Manitoba for 2 years.

I’m a very experienced and patient teacher. Many of my students are successful professionals, but I also teach hobbyists of all ages. I teach out of my home studio. I’m flexible in terms of of frequency of lessons. My studio has grown quite a bit in the last few years.
