About Valerie
Prior to 2020, I worked in China for 5 years teaching young children, adults and toddlers to speak, read and write in English. I hold two TEFL certificates and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
Previously I was Editor-in-Chief and News Editor of my university newspaper.
I am a lifelong avid reader and writer who wants to share my skills and passion with others. I developed a penchant for language learning myself in the French class of my grade school, so I know how it feels to be a complete beginner, a learner with some proficiency and how it feels to finish reading your first novel in a second language.
