About Christopher
I am a fully qualified primary teacher (QTS, PGCE) with over a decade of experience in UK and international schools. I hold a Distinction MA in Education Leadership and have taught across all primary phases, from EYFS to Year 6. I specialise in helping children succeed at every stage: Early Years & KS1: Three years as a Reception teacher, fully trained in phonics, building strong foundations in reading, writing and early maths. KS2: Experienced in Maths, English and Science, supporting progress and confidence at all levels. Exam Preparation: Proven track record in Year 6 SATs and 11+ entrance exams (Maths, English, Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning). My approach is personalised, engaging and supportive. I use targeted strategies, data-driven feedback and creative resources to help children grow in confidence, independence and resilience. My lessons are carefully tailored to each child. I start with an initial assessment and then design sessions that build confidence step by step. For younger learners, I focus on phonics, early reading and number skills, using engaging games and activities. For KS2, I provide structured support in Maths, English and Science, with clear feedback after every lesson so parents can track progress. I also specialise in Year 6 SATs preparation and 11+ exams (Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning), combining practice papers with proven strategies to boost performance under exam conditions. My approach is supportive but challenging, helping children enjoy learning while achieving excellent results.
