About Amy
I have six years of experience teaching children aged 5 to 9 years old, and I am highly competent in delivering the British KS1 and KS2 curriculum. While teaching in Dubai, I held the position of Year 4 Lead, where I gained extensive experience in curriculum planning, assessment, and managing a team of teachers. My teaching approach is entirely student-focused, tailored to how each individual perceives and processes knowledge. I have been teaching for six years in KS1 and KS2, and I am passionate about helping children develop strong English skills through engaging and effective teaching methods. I am highly competent in teaching Writing, Reading, and SPaG and can provide tailored support to meet your child's specific needs. In our sessions, I use highly interactive and structured techniques, including guided practice, targeted skill development, and engaging activities, to build confidence and fluency. With experience in an outstanding UK school and a private school in Dubai, I bring a global perspective on education, enabling me to adapt my teaching to support students from various backgrounds effectively.
