About Shirley
I have successfully helped prepare children to pass grammar school entrance exams. I have given individual lessons to students taking the IGCE English exam. I have tutored young children who are being home schooled. I have worked in many settings, including working with children who have special needs. I have worked with many children on the autistic spectrum.
I strive to provide for my students a learning experience that is enjoyable with real outcomes.
I am extremely concientious with regard to preparation and feedback.

I'm Shirley. I have worked as a primary school teacher for over fifteen years, teaching a range of age groups. I have also worked as a special needs teacher. I currently work as an ESOL teacher, teaching English as a second language in a language school. I also have my own classroom at home and teach English to small groups of children from seven years to sixteen.
My lessons are structured to meet your needs and ability. I aim to give you the confidence to succeed. My strength as a teacher is being able to break down difficult concepts and help students to understand them.
