About Jennifer
Hi! I'm Jennifer, and I am currently studying Medicine at UNSW. I have previous tutoring experience – with - with a company (Years 1-6) and privately (VCE). I am keen to help my students excel in maths and science by tailoring my teaching approach to build strong foundations, boost confidence and help my students excel! I am also available outside tutoring hours as a support for students , whether it be for any questions or concerns they have.

Mode: ONLINE via Zoom, Google Meet or Teams
Length: 1-2 hours
Cost: $40+/hr for Primary School students, $50+/hr for Secondary School students (TRIAL LESSON - HALF PRICE)
Subjects: Primary (Maths, Science), Secondary (Maths, Science, VCE Maths Methods, VCE Biology, VCE Psychology (43SS))
Aim:
- Develop broad skill set needed for a variety of question types
- Focus on adapting the general skills for specific question types
- Enhance accuracy and timing
- Provide detailed feedback and annotations for student's reference during and outside of the lesson
- Acceleration of the school's normal curriculum
During the lesson:
- One-on-one support for the student
- Demonstration of how to answer questions (using key words, scaffolds and formulas)
- Completion of sample questions (varying difficulties) with direct feedback provided after
- Resources (notes, slides, trial exams and questions) sent post-lesson for feedback and marking before the next lesson.
Each lesson will be adapted to meet the student's needs and priorities, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
