About Maya
I am a piano teacher with 9+ years of experience and an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. My lessons support students preparing for worship leading, theater accompaniment, or wedding band performance. I focus on a motivating, personalized approach that fits each learner. Lessons cover technique, sight-reading, improvisation, and expressive playing. Worship students develop chord voicing and accompaniment fluency. Theater accompanists work on timing, expression, and following cues. Wedding band musicians practice groove, style, and adaptability. I also integrate music theory, ear training, and improvisation. Confidence, independence, and musicality are emphasized in every lesson. Students learn while performing music that inspires them. Each session blends technical skill with expressive artistry. My goal is to help students achieve their musical ambitions. Together, we cultivate strong, confident performance skills.
