About Alison
I am an experienced piano teacher of 20 years. I like most genres of music and am lucky to do a job that I love.
My aim is to make lessons fun and engaging and to provide a safe place for pupils to learn and grow in confidence. I am keen to pass on my passion for music to my pupils in the hope that they will enjoy music as much as I do.

I offer half-hour or hour lessons tailored towards the individual child / adult.
Beginner lessons include basic musicianship tuition as well as the main focus on note recognition skills to assist fluent reading.
Technique, theory and sight-reading are also included.
Lessons can be aimed towards exam preparation or playing for fun.
