About Valentina
I am an experienced Piano tutor with 14 years of teaching and professional music experience. I teach piano to school and college students and aim to create a positive and inspiring learning environment.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have reached meaningful milestones, such as helping students overcome fear and enjoy performing. These experiences strengthened my passion for education.
My lessons focus on posture, finger movement, rhythm, and music reading. I also teach basic music theory so students understand music clearly and play with confidence.
I believe piano learning builds discipline, creativity, and emotional balance. Watching students grow into confident musicians is the most rewarding part of my work.
My teaching style is patient, calm, and student-focused. I guide students step by step and help them reach their musical goals with confidence.

I follow a comprehensive, student-centred, and creative approach to teaching piano. I emphasise communication, making complex techniques, rhythm, and music theory easy to understand and apply. Lessons are adapted to each student’s learning style, ensuring they feel supported, motivated, and confident in their progress.
I bring music to life through real-life examples and case studies, such as exploring favourite songs, analysing classical works, and showing music’s role in movies and daily experiences.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, and composition, giving students the tools to become well-rounded musicians.
My teaching method encourages discipline, creativity, performance confidence, and a lifelong love for music, enabling students to enjoy learning piano and express themselves fully through their musical journey.
