About Beverley
I have been teaching Science and Physics in secondary schools since 1994. I have taught thousands of students at GCSE and hundreds of students at A level, with many achieving excellent results and progressing to degree courses and beyond. I have a great interest in Physics, and strive to pass my enthusiasm on to all my students. I believe that examination success comes from identifying and dealing with weaknesses. I always try to seek student misconceptions and remedy them, followed by more practice questions and reassessment to check that they have been resolved. I find multiple choice quizzes to be a particularly effective way of identifying problem areas as they give immediate feedback that can be quickly used to improve progress. I also have access to many excellent resources, such as PowerPoints, exam questions/ mark schemes and summary notes to clarify the key concepts and ensure successful exam preparation.
