About Jack
I believe Organic Chemistry becomes interesting when students understand why reactions happen instead of simply memorizing them. My teaching style encourages curiosity, logical thinking, and confidence while creating a supportive environment where every learner can succeed.
With a Master's Degree and 11 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through school and university curricula by using practical examples, structured explanations, and personalized academic support.

I teach Organic Chemistry through a concept-based approach that helps students understand reaction pathways, chemical behaviour, and molecular structures. My lessons combine theory with practical problem-solving to make challenging topics easier to understand and remember.
Students explore nomenclature, stereochemistry, functional groups, hydrocarbons, aromatic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, substitution and elimination reactions, oxidation and reduction, carbonyl compounds, amines, polymers, spectroscopy, retrosynthesis, laboratory techniques, and examination preparation. Every session includes practice exercises, revision activities, and detailed feedback.
Lessons are personalised according to each student's strengths and learning goals. I focus on improving conceptual clarity, analytical reasoning, and exam confidence while helping students develop a strong foundation for advanced Chemistry studies.
