About Amna
I am a Physics Master's graduate from LUMS with over 6 years of experience teaching high school and introductory university-level Physics. I specialize in Canadian high school Physics (SPH3U, SPH4U), O/A Levels, IGCSE, Matric/FSc, and first-year university Physics and Calculus. I’m also certified in Higher Education Teaching by Harvard Bok Center.
In teaching and tutoring, I focus on building a solid understanding of basic concepts and consistent practice so that students can approach more complex problems with confidence. I go at the student's pace to encourage deeper learning and better retention. My teaching style is discussion-based, encouraging active engagement and critical thinking throughout each session.
To make sessions more focused and effective, I ask students to share the topics or questions they’d like to discuss ahead of time. This allows me to prepare targeted explanations and examples, and helps students get the most out of each class.
