About Cristine
Hello! I’m an experienced and passionate English tutor with 10 years of experience teaching English online to students from different backgrounds and learning levels.
Over the years, I have helped students improve their speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, and overall communication skills. With 10 years of experience teaching English online, I use a student-centered and personalized approach. I believe that every learner has different needs, goals, and learning styles, so I adjust my lessons and teaching techniques accordingly.
My Teaching Method and Techniques
I create interactive and practical lessons that encourage students to actively use English rather than simply memorize rules. Depending on the student’s goals, I use conversation practice, guided discussions, role-playing, reading exercises, vocabulary activities, pronunciation practice, and grammar exercises. I also provide corrections and constructive feedback in a supportive way to help students improve without feeling pressured.
A Typical Lesson
I usually begin by reviewing the student’s previous lesson or asking a few warm-up questions to help them feel comfortable. We then focus on the main topic or skill for the day, followed by guided practice and conversation activities. I encourage students to speak as much as possible while I provide corrections and explanations when needed. At the end of the lesson, I review the key points and suggest areas they can continue practicing.

I am patient, approachable, and attentive to each student’s progress.
