As a native Urdu speaker with a strong educational background and years of experience teaching children in Pakistan, I offer friendly, engaging and tailored Urdu lessons to students of all levels. Whether you are a complete beginner, a student preparing for your GCSE Urdu exam, or simply someone looking to improve your speaking, writing, reading, or listening skills, I can help you meet your goals. I provide both online and face-to-face lessons (in Stoke-on-Trent). My face-to-face sessions are ideal for local learners who prefer in-person interaction. For online lessons, I use Zoom or WhatsApp video, with screen sharing and a virtual whiteboard for better understanding. My teaching style is patient, encouraging and student-centred. I use a combination of conversation practice, grammar exercises, reading materials, audio clips, and writing tasks to help students build confidence and fluency in Urdu. I focus on proper pronunciation, sentence structure, vocabulary building, and real-life language use. Each lesson is customised to meet the needs of the student – whether it’s day-to-day communication or formal writing. I also provide help with GCSE Urdu preparation, including past paper practice, translation tasks and exam strategies. For beginners, I start with the Urdu alphabet, basic greetings, simple sentences and gradually build vocabulary and grammar knowledge step by step. Lessons can be 30 minutes or 1 hour depending on the student’s preference. I also offer trial lessons to understand the student’s goals and learning style. I am flexible with timings and available on weekdays and weekends. I teach children, teenagers, and adults.
