About Nick
I am currently working as an accountant and have a strong academic background in mathematics, including an A in A-Level Mathematics and an A in AS Further Mathematics. My work involves applying numerical and analytical skills every day, which allows me to show students how mathematical thinking is used in real situations.
I also have experience tutoring secondary-school students, including GCSE Maths, and I focus on making difficult topics clear, structured and approachable. I am DBS checked, reliable and committed to helping students build both confidence and stronger exam performance.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s current level, confidence and goals, focusing on clear explanations followed by guided practice and exam-style questions. I encourage students to understand the reasoning behind each method rather than simply memorising steps, and I adapt my approach when a topic is proving difficult.
My lessons are primarily aimed at GCSE and A-Level students of all abilities, whether they need help catching up, improving their confidence or pushing towards the highest grades.
