About Abdullah
I teach at a local tuition centre and also tutor privately so I have experience teaching Maths and Science to high school students. I appreciate the importance of tackling some of the harder subjects by breaking topics down piece by piece to get to the core of the concept. Only then can different methods such as memorisation and practice questions be used to perform well in an exam. GCSEs and A-levels have never been easy – but now they’re even harder. Recently completing my A-levels has given me the benefit of not just having all of the material fresh in my head, but has given me first-hand experience with the new curriculum and how to navigate around it. I am able to tailor the lessons around your strengths and weaknesses in order to target the areas most important to you so that you can get the grades that you want. Throughout my high school and sixth form years I myself have had a few different private tutors of varying teaching abilities and commitment to their students, so I recognise the importance of a tutor to not just have strong academics, but rather, to be dedicated to their students and hold their success as their utmost priority! I’m not going to pretend that I've got 100% in every exam that I’ve taken or that I’ve always been at the top of every class in high school. Not in the slightest - however, over time, through hard work and learning from my experiences, I’ve been able to pick up on the more effective ways to study and perform well in my exams so that I can pursue the career of my choice, and I hope to be able to share this with yourselves. My rates are £20 per hour (or a two-hour block for £35) and all lessons will be conducted online in the meantime - with the first lesson free of charge. I’ve currently taken some time out of education, but I will be starting Medical School shortly - If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch! Abdullah's approach to tutoring is tailor made for each student, depending on their level of knowledge, most effective learning style and their goals. He is able to read a student well, so can identify if a student is unclear or confused when learning a concept. There is no doubt he provides teaching of a high standard, and also pushes students to achieving beyond their targets.
In regards to communication for lesson times, he is direct, clear and punctual.
