I aim to make the sessions relaxed and enjoyable and fun where possible. I have been tutoring for over 5 years to GCSE and A Level and find it personally both rewarding and enjoyable. The goal is to help the student become more confident and proficient and so enjoy the subject more.

Rob helped me on my Open University maths course. He is a patient teacher and explains things in a clear and effective manner. For more complex problems he breaks them down into bite size chunks to help understanding.
Rob has a deep understanding of mathematics, and has the knack of making it interesting and comprehensible to students (including me, trying to understand Maxwell's equations). He's a warm, open, friendly guy who can understand each student's challenges, and adapts his teaching accordingly. His thoughtful, practical approach results in tailored individual tuition that is imaginative, and engaging - and ultimately effective.
