About Manqoba
I am a research scientist working for UK Research and Innovation. I have more than 6 years of experience tutoring and teaching undergraduate physics and mathematics courses. I have been a teaching assistant for undergraduate computational mathematics, differential equations, university physics 1 & 2, and experimental demonstrator for physics labs (electronics, mechanics, electromagnetism). Furthermore, I was a co-founder of Ngwanya Academy which was an online tutoring and career guidance for secondary schools.

In all my lessons, I strive to hit a balance between (i) showing how certain concepts and formulas naturally arise (which helps students to understand the subject), and (ii) practical tips and tools to solve problems encountered in exams and life. I am also flexible to adapt to the needs of the learner, for example, a student may say: I have two days before the exam, what can I do to maximize my marks? (No shame in that, we all have been there) I have shortcuts ready for such times of emergency. I am also good at identifying strengths students have and can coach them to excel.
