About Rhaseda

Hello and welcome! My name is Rhaseda , and I’m deeply passionate about making mathematics accessible, understandable, and enjoyable for all students. With a Science Bachelor in Mathematics from NYCCT and over 3 years of experience as a mathematics tutor, I’ve dedicated myself to helping students uncover their potential and conquer challenges in learning math.

My journey with mathematics has been one of both passion and dedication. From being fascinated by numbers as a child to pursuing a higher education in mathematics, I’ve always been captivated by the logic and beauty of math. After completing my degree, I decided to share my love for math by guiding others through their mathematical journey. My professional background includes working with students of all ages and levels, from elementary school through high school.

As your tutor, I bring not only a deep understanding of mathematical concepts but also a commitment to professionalism and excellence. I’m continuously updating my skills and knowledge to ensure that my teaching methods and materials are current and effective. My tutoring sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

I believe that confidence is just as important as competency in math. My approach to tutoring focuses on encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills, helping students to understand the ‘why’ behind the ‘how’. This not only aids in retention but also in developing a genuine interest in mathematics. I strive to create a supportive and positive learning environment where questions are encouraged, and challenges are seen as opportunities for growth.

Here are some reasons why choosing me as your tutor would be your best choice:

I design learning plans that are tailored to your individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. My lessons are interactive and incorporate real-world applications to make math relatable. I provide continuous feedback and resources to support your learning outside of our sessions. Understanding the busy lives of students and families, I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.

My ultimate goal is not just to improve your grades but to foster a deep appreciation for math and its applications in the real world. Whether you’re struggling with basic concepts or advanced topics, I’m here to guide you through with patience, expertise, and a genuine interest in your success.

Let’s embark on this mathematical journey together. Contact me to discuss how we can achieve your goals and make math a rewarding part of your life.
