About Robert
I have a bachelor's degree and math and also an MS degree in math, in addition to a chemistry minor in undergrad. I work in the IT computer field, having done programming and IT business analysis. I continue to enjoy math and always keep busy reading an old textbook on various topics such as analysis, geometry, abstract algebra.

I always prefer in-person teaching but thought I would give remote teaching a try. I first like to spend a few minutes to learn about the math class the student is currently taking - the book being used, the chapters covered - and then look at the homework problems being assigned. I like to try to explain things so the student can perhaps see the bigger picture and have a better understanding of the symbols and techniques used in math.
