About Michael

Do you ever think that you should have been better at maths by now? You are not alone. Over the last six years of teaching more than 700 students at different levels of maths, I discovered that anyone could improve their success with maths using three simple principles: 1. Developing a growth mindset 2. Creating a second brain 3. Learn nice, or learn twice I believe that every child can do well in mathematics. It is not just about working hard but rather, working hard at the right thing.

About the lesson

A typical lesson starts with the big idea for the topic in question. With the student at the centre, the lesson will be developed based on learning preferences and complemented with proven study techniques. Lessons are usually 40mins to 1 hour in length. I have been a classroom teacher for over six years and two years as an online tutor. These lessons will be perfect for you if you are pursuing the GCSE, A Levels or need general help with high school mathematics.

Mr. Michael Skyers is a conscientious tutor because he doesn’t only focus on students
knowing the theory of math , but also their thorough understanding of the principles that the theories depend on. He also gives valuable study tips and techniques. When I met Mr. Skyers my understanding of math was weak and additionally, I was struggling with time management, but with his advising, patience and ability to make even the most complicated topics understandable, my perseverance grew which consequently improved my grades.
