About Katie
I graduated with a Bachelors in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I've worked professionally as a marketer for almost three years now. I decided to start tutoring because I've always loved teaching people new things, but with a full time job I haven't found quite enough time, until now!

I want to connect with my students and find a way to create a personal connection between them and the subject at hand. I teach mainly grades K-6th. I can teach various subjects and the lesson plans will vary depending on the subject of the day. I started tutoring because I love teaching people new things. I've always enjoyed learning new things and I love being able to spread my knowledge and make a difference in people's lives. As a nanny for more than 6 years, I've worked with all different age groups in all different types of situations.
