About Roshni
My name is Roshni, and I have always had a strong passion for mathematics, which I studied through to A-Level. I have over six years of professional experience working in the finance industry, where I have used mathematical skills daily in roles across tax, accounting, and finance. This background allows me to teach maths not only as a subject, but as a practical and valuable life skill. I am a patient, approachable tutor who understands that everyone learns differently. I take the time to adapt my teaching style to suit each student, building confidence and understanding at a comfortable pace. I am committed to helping students reach their full potential and achieve the best results they can. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, which helps me bring a positive and well-rounded perspective to my teaching.

The first session is used to assess strengths, gaps, and learning style, allowing me to tailor lessons effectively. I recommend one-to-one sessions of 60-90 minutes per week, with additional lessons available during exam periods. I hold an A-Level in Maths and have professional experience in finance, tax, and accounting at organisations including Deloitte and National Grid. I support primary and secondary school students, with a strong focus on SATs and GCSE preparation.
