About Jack
I am currently a discovery scientist within a contract research organisation, and I am looking to diversify the way in which I work. I have a wonderful home-life, including a beautiful partner and two cute dogs, whom I would love to spend more time with. I commute a long distance daily, and conduct interesting scientific research, whilst juggling the other requirements of high level laboratory work. Teaching has been something I have always considered, given I have a good temperament for it and enjoy seeing others learning and having fun.

Throughout my academic life and now career, I have enjoyed helping others to understand how science works. I believe that everyone learns differently, and I aim to discover the best ways for each individual to learn, and learn in a way that is captivating and motivating. Quality always prevails over quantity when studying is difficult, and knowing how best to approach the process is the key to success overall! Academia does not need to be devoid of fun, and often discussion and expansion into real world examples helps to remind us of why learning is necessary, and hopefully interesting!
