About Amelia
A dedicated high school cellist with seven years of study, I, Amelia, am passionate about sharing music with others. As a member of the top orchestra at school, I can demonstrate both skill and commitment to the craft. Beyond the classroom, I have volunteered at The Naples Artis for over three years, where I contribute to preserving and promoting music appreciation in the community. With a strong foundation in performance and a desire to inspire young musicians, I am eager to take on new musical opportunities, whether performing, teaching, or collaborating.

Guide kids through warm-ups, scales, and basic technique exercises, focusing on bowing, posture, and hand position.
Help younger students read sheet music confidently by practicing note recognition, rhythm, and sight-reading in small sections.
Share tips on structuring practice time, such as dividing sessions between technique, new pieces, and review.
Choose simple duet pieces to play with them; it’s fun and improves their listening skills and rhythm.
Share tricks I’ve learned over the years, like effective ways to memorize pieces or improve difficult passages.
Show them how to tune their cello carefully, introducing them to the fine tuners and eventually the pegs, if they’re ready.
Introduce basic shifting techniques for students ready to play beyond first position.
