About Connor
My name is Connor, I am 21 and I have recently graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music in London with a degree in Music Business. I started playing guitar at age 12, and it has been my biggest passion ever since. I studied Music Performance at the Leeds Conservatoire of Music and have been pursuing my passion on the outside as well - I have played in several bands, mostly indie-punk and metal. I am based in Edinburgh, where I moved in September, so I am willing to travel throughout the city or tutor online as well.

My lessons can be engaging for everyone, from children to adult learners and are typically 1 hour long, but can vary depending on the specific needs of the student, which also dictate my teaching method. I specialise in electric guitar, but have extensive performance experience in both bass and acoustic as well, so I am confident in teaching any of the three.

Connor tutored my little sister in acoustic guitar for about two years, and she absolutely loved it. He came to our house twice a week for about an hour each session, and was extremely thoughtful and student-centred. They practiced a lot together, and he always left her some "homework" to do on her own before the following lesson, meaning that she was always up to speed and enjoyed the lessons more. He is great at teaching children because they bond very easily (my little sister loved having Connor as a tutor and really misses their lessons now as he's moved away), and his method is really engaging. Would highly recommend!
