About Violet
Hello! I’m a guitar instructor with 4 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in World Music focused on Guitar Traditions. My musical journey blends academic training with practical experience in metal, shred, and progressive rock. These styles require both discipline and creativity. I enjoy sharing that balance with students.
My lessons emphasize precision and speed. Technique is the starting point. Students practice alternate picking, tapping, sweep picking, and legato phrasing. Exercises build coordination and strength.
I work with both young learners and adult students. Lessons are personalized for each player. Everyone has different musical interests.
Some students want tight rhythm skills. Others aim for advanced shred techniques. Both approaches are exciting. Music theory helps students understand their instrument better.
