About Ivy
I hold a master’s degree in music with a specialization in guitar performance and have accumulated 9 years of teaching experience. My journey with the guitar started early in life, and over time, my passion for the instrument has grown into a fulfilling career dedicated to sharing this love of music with others. I strive to help students develop their skills and discover their unique musical voice. My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, adaptability, and personalized instruction. I recognize that every student learns differently, so I customize my lessons to accommodate individual learning styles and goals. Building a strong technical foundation while nurturing creativity and musical expression is a key part of my approach. Throughout my career, I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners establishing basic techniques to advanced players preparing for performances and competitions. This diverse experience allows me to guide students through various musical genres and challenges, helping them progress confidently.
