About Emma
I’m a graphic designer and visual artist… I’ve been a graphic designer for 20 years with a degree in Graphic Communication (BA hons). I also have a Masters in Multimedia and information design. I’ve worked for design agencies and as a freelancer throughout my career. I’m experienced at using the design packages - InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I’ve been a visual artist for 15 years and work in the community (schools, care homes, events etc). My work is 3D, sculptural, digital drawing, mixed media. I love working with people and sharing my skills and creativity. My aim is to encourage, enthuse and guide people to build confidence and enjoy being creative.

I will teach you the skills to use the CC Adobe Creative suite… InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I’ll teach you to prepare files for print and guidelines to setting up a file in a professional and efficient way. I’ll give advice and guidance on any design projects you have. Set tasks for you to achieve your own goals.

Emma is a kind, friendly and accommodating designer! I have used Emma for several projects, but mainly for designing posters and tickets for our concerts at Treorchy Comprehensive School. Not only is her work always excellent, but she is amenable, patient and considerate. I would highly recommend her as a designer and tutor.
When I decided to explore my artistic side later in life, I needed someone to help me gain a bit of confidence and Emma was like a creative guardian angel! After working with Emma, I feel free to create for myself and have fun with the process.
I can’t recommend Emma highly enough. She got my vision almost immediately and came up with some valid suggestions and delivered a very quick and professional service.
