About Mani
I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with over four years’ experience helping students achieve their academic goals in Maths, Science, and English. I have worked with learners aged 8–16, supporting everything from 11+ entrance exam preparation to GCSE success. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring they feel supported, challenged, and confident in their abilities. I take pride in my professionalism — arriving prepared, organised, and ready to adapt my teaching style to get the best results. My approach to tutoring is centred on building confidence and understanding in each student. I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs, combining clear explanations, practical examples, and plenty of interactive practice. I believe in breaking complex topics into simple, manageable steps so students can progress steadily without feeling overwhelmed. A typical lesson lasts one hour and begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by focused teaching on the day’s topic, and finishing with questions and recap activities. I use a mix of past papers, tailored worksheets, and real-life applications to keep learning engaging and relevant. I have over four years’ experience tutoring students aged 8–16 in Maths, Science, and English, including preparation for 11+ entrance exams and GCSEs. My students have consistently improved their grades and exam confidence through structured lessons, regular feedback, and a supportive learning environment. Whether the goal is to excel in school, pass an entrance exam, or gain confidence in a challenging subject, I aim to make lessons enjoyable, focused, and results-driven.
