About Elsa
I have been teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) since 2009 and obtained my Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language from Lyon 2 University in 2013. I have taught abroad for several years in Switzerland, South Korea, Australia, Germany, France and Russia. My last position before moving to Melbourne was teaching French at a prestigious language school in Geneva.
Here in Melbourne I teach French at university and in a French language school.
Passionate about pedagogy, I strive to convey the French language in a lively and dynamic way!

Teaching Methodology: Active and Communicative
My teaching methodology is active and focuses on communicative and action-oriented techniques, as well as my expertise with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
With over 10 years of experience teaching at universities, language schools, and alliances françaises internationally (Switzerland, Australia, Russia, South Korea, Germany, France), I bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to my classes. I am also a DELF examiner. Courses Offered (All Levels/All Ages): - General French - DELF/DALF Preparation - French for Specific Purposes Depending on your needs, each course will include listening and reading comprehension, oral and written production, and grammar.
And always, plenty of communication!
In my classes, you will: - Build confidence in your abilities - Develop your language skills - Quickly gain the autonomy to express yourself in French! I use a variety of up-to-date materials (videos, newspaper articles, etc.) to make learning engaging and relevant.
