About Lanje
Hello! My name is Lanje, and I am passionate about helping young learners develop confidence and a love for Mathematics. I enjoy working with Foundation Phase learners and believe that Math should be fun, engaging and easy to understand.
I love teaching because I enjoy seeing children grow in confidence and realize that they are capable of solving problems on their own. I understand that every child learns differently, so I use patient guidance, practical examples, games and interactive activities to make lessons enjoyable and less stressful.
My goal is to build strong mathematical foundations in counting, number concepts, problem-solving and basic calculations while creating a positive learning environment where learners feel encouraged to try their best. I believe that when children enjoy Math from a young age, they become more confident learners in all areas of school.

My Mathematics lessons focus on helping young learners understand concepts in a simple, enjoyable and stress-free way. I know that many children can feel overwhelmed by Maths, so I use creative teaching methods to turn learning into a positive experience.
I work patiently with each learner to strengthen important Foundation Phase skills such as number recognition, counting, patterns, calculations and problem-solving. Lessons are filled with interactive activities, hands-on learning and real-life examples that help children understand how Maths works in everyday situations.
What makes my lessons unique is that I focus strongly on confidence-building and individual attention. I celebrate small achievements, encourage independent thinking and make sure learners feel proud of their progress. My aim is to help children develop a strong foundation in Mathematics while making them excited and motivated to learn.
