I am a Bahasa Melayu tutor with over 7 years of experience, specializing in SPM preparation. About Me I am a passionate and experienced Bahasa Melayu tutor with over 7 years of experience in preparing students for SPM. I hold a Master's degree from Universiti Malaya, which has equipped me with in-depth knowledge of Malay grammar, literature, and writing techniques. My Approach My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on each student's learning style and needs. I incorporate interactive methods such as question-based discussions, writing drills, grammar games, and essay evaluations. I emphasize understanding over memorization, especially for tatabahasa (grammar) and karangan (essay writing). Lesson Structure Each lesson typically lasts between 1 to 2 hours. I begin with a short review of the previous lesson, followed by concept teaching, guided exercises, and end with short assessments or reflection. Who I Teach I primarily teach SPM-level students (Form 4 & Form 5), but I am also open to helping lower secondary students (PT3 level) and adult learners looking to improve their command of Bahasa Melayu. Qualifications & Experience Master’s Degree in Malay Studies – Universiti Malaya 7+ years of tutoring experience (private and group) Proven success in helping students achieve A grades in SPM Bahasa Melayu My goal is to help every student become more confident in using Bahasa Melayu and to develop strong skills in grammar and writing.
