About Kevin
I have been teaching Excel for more than a decade, helping learners develop practical skills in data management and analysis. My background combines hands-on spreadsheet experience with years of tutoring students from different academic and professional fields.
In my lessons, I focus on both the basics and the advanced features of Excel. Students learn formulas, logical functions, formatting, and data organization before moving on to PivotTables, data visualization, and dashboard creation.
I have worked with university students, professionals, and aspiring analysts who want to strengthen their technical skills. Many of my students are interested in business, finance, and analytics where Excel plays a key role.
Learning Excel should feel empowering, not overwhelming. My goal is to help students build confidence and develop the ability to analyze information and make better decisions using data.

I focus on teaching Excel in a way that is clear, practical, and interactive. Students start with core concepts like formulas, cell references, and data organization. Each lesson builds on the previous one so skills grow naturally. Small successes motivate bigger achievements.
Advanced topics include PivotTables, charts, conditional formatting, and simple dashboards. I also introduce techniques for cleaning data, analyzing trends, and summarizing results. These skills allow students to work with data in meaningful ways. Accuracy and efficiency are emphasized throughout.
I work closely with learners to help them develop their own problem-solving methods. My approach is supportive and reflective, helping students explore solutions confidently. Those who enjoy experimenting and learning by curiosity benefit most. My goal is to help students not just use Excel, but think with it.
