About Nysy
Hi! I'm Nysy, an ESL tutor who learned English in just 2 years. I spent only one marking period (9-weeks approx.) in ESL classes before moving into honors and AP courses, so I know what it takes to learn quickly and efficiently. My lessons are fast-paced, focused, and tailored to help students progress in grammar, vocabulary, reading, and speaking. I make learning practical, interactive, and fun, so students gain confidence while improving their English.

My ESL lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs. I use a combination of teaching methods, including communicative practice, vocabulary-building exercises, grammar drills, and reading comprehension activities. A typical lesson starts with a warm-up activity, followed by focused practice on a specific skill, then interactive exercises or games, and ends with a short review to reinforce what was learned. Practice suggestions may be given to help students continue learning between lessons.
What sets me apart is my bilingual background (Spanish-speaker). I adapt lessons to each student's learning style, making them enjoyable and effective. My lessons are ideal for elementary to high school students who want to improve their English for school, exams or everyday communication.
