About Alina
Hi! I’m an experienced English tutor with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring students aged 8–16. I love helping young learners build confidence in English language and literature and prepare for their exams. My lessons are fun, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I’m also trained in dyslexia and inclusion teaching, so I make sure every learner feels comfortable and able to succeed. Whether online or in person, I aim to make English enjoyable and rewarding for every student I teach.

I believe every student learns best when lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to their individual needs. My tutoring sessions focus on building confidence, strengthening key skills, and developing a deeper understanding of both English language and literature. Each lesson is carefully structured to suit the learner’s goals—whether improving writing and comprehension, analysing literature, or preparing for GCSE exams. I use a variety of techniques such as guided reading, interactive discussions, model essays, and step-by-step writing frameworks to help students think critically and express themselves clearly. I’m trained in dyslexia and inclusion teaching, which means I adapt my methods to different learning styles, ensuring every student feels supported and able to achieve success. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, though shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student’s age and focus. With over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I have worked with students aged 8–16, from primary through to GCSE level. My aim is to make English both accessible and enjoyable, helping each learner gain confidence and reach their full potential—whether online or in person.
