About Madeleine
Hello! My name is Madeleine, and I am a passionate educator with more than 15 years of teaching and training experience. Since 2007, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them develop their English language skills, achieve academic success, and build confidence in their communication abilities.
I hold advanced qualifications in education, leadership, and human resources, and I currently teach at the university level. Throughout my career, I have taught English, academic writing, business communication, leadership, and professional development courses. My experience includes working with international students, newcomers, professionals, and university learners.
Students appreciate my supportive, patient, and encouraging teaching style. I believe that learning should be engaging, practical, and tailored to each student's individual goals. My lessons are carefully designed to help students achieve measurable results while building confidence in English communication. Every lesson is personalized to the student's goals, whether they are preparing for IELTS, improving academic writing, developing professional communication skills, or strengthening their everyday English.
At the beginning of our learning journey, I assess your current level, learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement. Based on this assessment, I create a structured learning plan tailored specifically to your objectives.
Each lesson combines clear instruction, guided practice, interactive activities, and constructive feedback. Students receive practical strategies to improve their speaking fluency, pronunciation, listening comprehension, reading skills, vocabulary, grammar accuracy, and writing proficiency.
For IELTS preparation, lessons focus on all four components of the exam—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Students learn proven test-taking strategies, receive detailed feedback on writing tasks, participate in realistic speaking practice, and complete targeted exercises designed to maximize their band scores.
For academic and professional learners, lessons emphasize critical thinking, presentation skills, report writing, business communication, interview preparation, and effective workplace communication. I help students communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally in both academic and business environments.
