About Trevor
Having been an ESL teacher in Vietnam for over 5 years, I am well versed in the challenges faced by ESL students and I am well prepared to assist my students in achieving their goals.
Being Cambridge CELTA certified and possessing a university degree in Policing, you can feel confident that my training and experience is well developed and tends to provide quality outcomes quickly. Additionally, I am Working With Children certified, giving you peace of mind when teaching your children.
My teaching techniques are very flexible, to suit the learner, and it is my priority to identify weaknesses and adapt lessons to enable students to grow quickly and confidently.
It is my belief that if you are having fun and seeing progress, you are most likely to succeed in your studies. For this reason, I like to get to know my students on a personal level and build a solid rapport or friendship whereby my students feel comfortable to push themselves and learn quickly by speaking. It is important that students verbalize what they are studying as it promotes memory retention and confidence.

Learn from a professional who has experience in teaching a levels of students. I am very friendly and approachable so lessons tend to be fun and engaging.
A typical lesson is 1hr in length and I encourage students to speak a much as possible as this is the best way to retain information.
I have over 5 years of ESL teaching experience in South East Asia - Vietnam in particular. I hold a Cambridge CELTA qualification and a Bachelor of Policing.
I am experienced in all levels; Beginner - IELTS - Adult Conversational English.
