Hi! I’m Shanique, an experienced educator with 20+ years in Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), and I LOVE helping students succeed in English, phonics, and essay writing. My lessons are upbeat, focused, and designed to help you actually understand what you’re learning—not just get through the work. Each session includes clear instruction, hands-on practice, and strategies you can use in class and on your own. What makes me different? I know how school really works. I explain things in ways that make sense, build confidence, and help students feel proud of their progress. You’ll learn how to organize your thoughts, strengthen your writing, and become a more confident reader.
