I am a dedicated and dynamic teacher of English and Literature with five years of teaching experience, helping learners develop strong language skills, critical thinking, and a genuine appreciation for literature. Normally, I use a learner-centred approach that combines interactive discussion and guided discovery. I also apply inclusive teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
I normally start my lesson with a brief review of the day's lesson and state the lesson objectives. I take learners through guided and independent reinforcing this with activities like discussions, written exercises and oral presentations. The lesson is concluded with an assessment, reflection and a brief assignment. This is for learners at the High School Level, learners needing support in grammar, literature analysis, or communication skills, students with learning difficulties who require individualized support or adults seeking to improve their English proficiency.
My strength lies in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where learners feel valued and capable. I tailor my lessons to individual abilities, promote creativity and help the learner gain confidence in both spoken and written English.
