About Benita
Hi there,
My name is Benita. I am a teacher with 4+ of experience teaching in the classroom (as a school teacher), and outside the classroom (as a tutor). I am passionate about teaching because I love to assist students to acquire knowledge and broaden their horizons in the Academic sphere of their lives. Teaching comes very naturally to me and aligns with my bubbly, friendly, patient, funny, and smart personality. I believe that teachers like me are very important in the world because every individual needs to acquire knowledge upon their arrival into the world — be it a skill or subject.
My qualifications and skills as a teacher are numerous to mention, but I will be leaving these unique points below.
• I am highly skilled in teaching my students engagingly and interactively, whereby every student is carried along.
• I make use of slides, pictures, videos, audio, materials, and every piece of equipment necessary in facilitating a healthy and interesting teaching session.
• I study and pay close attention to the behavioral pattern of every student. (Introvert, extrovert, ADHD, Autism, Special Needs, etc). I am willing to teach any willing student despite their differences.
• I employ the use of the internet in making appropriate research and equally encourage students in making research that could broaden their knowledge even after classes.
• I use Zoom, Skype, email, etc when necessary to communicate and assist my students with their studies.
• I am very professional and diligent and won't allow my friendliness to get in the way of my work ethic as a teacher.
• I am Patient and empathic (I understand that my students be it a child, teenager, young adult, or adult, could be facing some challenges outside the classroom). So I am empathic and would incorporate my teaching skills to suit the student.
• I adapt quickly to the changes made in my teaching environment and will quickly adjust to enhance the learning experience for the student.
• I teach without Bias (meaning that I don't care about your race, color, social status, or physical features). Every student is important to me!.
• I have Excellent Top-notch communication skills. My oral and verbal skills are the bomb!.
• My stress management skills are very impressive, so I am prepared for whatever comes my way.
