About Courtney

I am currently an MA student studying on a Dramatherapy course. Before that, I completed my BA(Hons) degree in Acting. In the years between I worked as a Learning Support Assistant, and worked with a range of people, including those with Additional needs (SEND). I have taught English as a foreign language for two years, as well as Health and Social Care at A-level more recently. I am a kinaesthetic learner and only discovered this recently, I fully believe in finding your individual learning style so that we can work together to ensure the lessons I give are suited to you.

About the lesson

I aim to provide fun, active, and engaging lessons that utilise the student's individual skills. My lessons will be between 1 and 2 hours long depending on the needs of the student. I have an Oxbridge home learning qualification in teaching and 3 years of teaching experience. My lessons are aimed at students who need that little bit of extra help with their English, whether they are native English speakers or who are learning English as a foreign language. I have previously taught a variety of ages; from 9 years to 16 years old.
