About Maricela
Hi! I’m an experienced elementary teacher and writing tutor who loves helping students discover that writing can be creative, engaging, and enjoyable. I have experience working with young learners and understand that every student learns differently.
My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable sharing their ideas while developing stronger writing skills. I personalize each lesson to meet the student’s needs, whether they need help with grammar, sentence structure, paragraphs, creative writing, or school assignments.
I’m patient, enthusiastic, and committed to helping students build both their writing abilities and confidence. I look forward to helping your child become a stronger, more independent writer!

My writing lessons are designed to help students in grades 1–4 become stronger, more confident writers in a fun and supportive environment. As an experienced elementary teacher, I provide personalized online lessons based on each student’s individual needs and learning level.
Students will learn how to brainstorm ideas, organize their thoughts, write complete and detailed sentences, develop paragraphs, use descriptive language, strengthen grammar and punctuation, and revise and edit their writing. We may also work on creative writing, personal narratives, opinion writing, and school assignments.
My goal is to make writing feel less overwhelming and more rewarding while helping students develop skills they can use independently in the classroom. Every lesson is interactive, encouraging, and tailored to help each student grow as a writer.
