About Alexia
Hi! I’m Alexia, an Elementary Education major with a strong passion for helping students learn, grow, and feel confident in their abilities.
As a future educator, I have developed a strong foundation in child development, instructional planning, classroom strategies, and supporting students with different learning needs. I believe every student can learn when they are given the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment.
When you work with me, you can expect patience, professionalism, and lessons tailored to your individual needs. I take the time to understand where you are academically and explain concepts in a clear and approachable way. My goal is to make learning less stressful and more enjoyable while helping you develop skills that you can use independently.

Looking for a tutor who will be patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in your child’s success? I’m an Elementary Education major with a passion for helping students understand difficult concepts, build confidence, and develop a positive attitude toward learning.
My tutoring is personalized to the student. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach, so I take time to understand what a student already knows, where they are struggling, and how they learn best. I use clear explanations, examples, visual aids, guided practice, interactive activities, and questions that encourage students to think for themselves.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review or warm-up to identify areas that need attention. We then focus on the main skill or concept, work through examples together, and gradually transition to independent practice. I make sure students have opportunities to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed or discouraged. At the end of each lesson, we review what they learned and identify what they can continue practicing.
What makes me different is that I’m not simply focused on getting through an assignment. I want students to actually understand what they are learning and feel confident applying it on their own. As a future educator, I understand the importance of adapting instruction when something isn’t working and finding another way to explain it.
My lessons are ideal for elementary and early middle school students who need help with homework, want additional practice, are struggling with a particular subject or skill, or simply want extra support outside the classroom. I also welcome students who benefit from additional patience, repetition, encouragement, or individualized instruction.
Whether your child needs help catching up, staying on track, or getting ahead, my goal is to make learning feel less overwhelming and more achievable—one lesson at a time.
