My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Methodology:

As an experienced Cyber Security Engineer and Network Administrator, I focus on simplifying complex topics to make them accessible and understandable for students at all levels. My teaching methodology revolves around structured, theory-based instruction that covers essential concepts before moving into more advanced topics. I provide clear explanations using real-world examples to help students connect theory with practical applications, without requiring hands-on exercises. I also adapt my teaching methods to suit different learning styles, ensuring that each student fully grasps the material.

Typical Lesson Structure and Length:

Each lesson lasts 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of the topic and the student's learning pace. The session starts with a brief review of previously covered material, followed by a detailed exploration of new concepts. I encourage active participation through discussions and problem-solving activities to help students engage with the material. Every lesson concludes with a Q&A session to address any questions and ensure a deep understanding of the subject matter.

Qualifications and Experience:

With a Master’s degree in Internetworking from UTS and Network Security from Charles Sturt University, along with certifications like MCP and Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), I bring a solid academic background to my teaching. My experience as a Cyber Security Engineer at CMC Markets, where I work with advanced technologies and security solutions, allows me to offer real-world insights and examples during lessons.

Who My Lessons Are For:

My lessons are designed for students up to the HSC level who are keen to learn networking, cyber security, or IT fundamentals. Whether you're a high school student aiming to enter the IT field or a beginner looking to gain foundational knowledge, my lessons provide a strong theoretical base to support your future studies or career development.
