My tutoring approach is centered on building strong conceptual understanding and confidence. I focus heavily on understanding why each step matters, not just memorizing formulas, so students can use the skills in exams and future courses. I end each session with a quick summary and a personalized set of practice steps for next time.
What sets me apart is my background as a civil engineer with two master’s degrees, years of industry experience, and a strong foundation in math and physics. I have taught high-school and university students for many years, including as an EngLinks tutor at Queen’s University, supporting courses such as APSC 111, 112, 171, and Solid Mechanics I & II.
