About Elise
I’m a high school student (Year 9) who enjoys playing in both casual and competitive chess tournaments. Since early primary school I've loved playing chess and advising people on chess tactics. I've played the WA state champion girl in one of my more competitive tournaments.I've won multiple trophies over the years playing in chess tournaments and look forward to sharing chess with my future students.

I'll focus on teaching key openings and gambits as well as common tactics for middlegames and endgames.Lessons will usually go for 1-2 hours. I'll personalize my teaching to individual students considering how they learn and their gameplay. Throughout my lessons I hope to pass on my passion for chess and improve your gameplay sharing books and resources that I think you'll find helpful for learning chess.
