About Vidyalakshmi
I am a Scientist by profession and completed my Ph.D degree (Chemistry) at the International Max-Planck Research School for Living Matters (Dortmund, Germany). I worked at University of Leeds as a Post Doctoral Scientist and at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as an Analytical Scientist. I have nearly ten years’ experience is academic research, which allowed me nurture my mentoring skills. I have had the opportunity to teach students at the Leeds University and Dortmund University (Germany). I have experience in private tutoring several students up to A-levels (Chemistry/Biology).
My teaching methodology has always been tailored to the needs of the individual student. Following the initial assessment of the student, I create a teaching strategy based on the curriculum and students requirements. I have a passion for teaching and very good at delivering thought provoking and interactive lessons. Along with developing the students subject knowledge, I also focus on broadening their scientific and analytical skills. With my tutoring experience, I have developed a teaching plan, which would including worksheets, past papers and revision. I usually talk to my students parents periodically and discuss about their child’s progress. Most of my students have secured good grades and express their gratitude to me. I feel proud to be a teacher and mentoring has always been highly rewarding.

I have a sound knowledge of Chemistry and Biology. I am an experienced tutor with a passion for mentoring and can deliver interactive and thought provoking lessons. I like to tailor my tutoring skills to suit the individuals requirements.

Online Lesson Plan:
I use Zoom for teaching online sessions since it has many tools and features which makes visual learning comfortable. I am fully equipped with modern gadgets for e-learning. I also use Microsoft white board for teaching, it is very convenient and students can access the tutoring notes after the lessons.
