About Doris
Hello there, I'm Doris and I'm most excited to have popped up on your screen as an online English Language teacher. A bit about me! I hold a B.A in English and Literary Studies from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; a distinction in PGDE from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, and a Master's degree (in view) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. I am an Instructor of the English Language here in Nigeria with both Nigerian and International certifications to my credit. At present, I work as an English teacher with a British school to implement her international curriculum; IMYC, and the Cambridge and Nigerian curriculum. I am an efficient professional and in the course of my ten (10) years of career, I have developed skill sets that are relevant to my position, including expertise in virtual lesson delivery for Checkpoint, IGCSE and Nigerian examinations. Overall, I facilitate fun and great online lessons for primary and secondary school students by employing several innovative and effective teaching methods to enable my scholars to excel in examinations. To this end, I am confident that my qualifications, skills and cross-cultural experiences in teaching the IGCSE, IMYC and Nigerian curriculum equip me with the capabilities to excel in this chosen field.
